The Westampton Township Police Department is pleased to announce a new service being provided to the community, which allows them to purchase accident reports online. This service is convenient, efficient and cost effective for the department, the community and insurance industry.
In an effort to reduce the inconvenience to those involved in accidents and continuing the tradition of providing exceptional service to the community, the Westampton Township Police Department has partnered with PoliceReports.US,LLC to implement a new online program for obtaining copies of accident reports. This will allow both citizens and insurance companies the flexibility of getting the reports at their leisure since the program is available 24 hours a day, seven days a week.
There are currently 43 police agencies in New Jersey utilizing the application with more than 730 nationwide. Westampton Township will be the ninth police department in Burlington County to go live.
In order to download copies of reports, you will need internet access and a credit card to pay the convenience fee. To search for an accident report, simply enter the report number or date of accident and last name.
Accident reports can still be picked up at the Westampton Township Police Department, Monday through Thursday, 8:00am to 3:30pm and Friday’s 8:00am to 1:00pm at no cost.
