Administrative Lieutenant

Lt Brian Ferguson currently serves as the Administrative Commander for the Westampton Township Police Department.  He has served in the position since October 2015.  Lt Ferguson is also the Office of Emergency Management Coordinator for the Township.  Lt Ferguson oversees the Internal Affairs Division, Criminal Investigations Unit, and Civilian Employee Supervisor.  Lt Ferguson was hired as a patrolman in July of 2001.  He was then promoted to the rank of Sergeant in 2006.
 
Lt Ferguson has an Associates of Science Criminal Justice Degree from Burlington County College.  Lt Ferguson is also a graduate from the NJ State Chief’s Association Command and Leadership program in 2019.  Lt Ferguson also serves as the Departments Traffic Safety Unit Supervisor and is an Accident Reconstructionist.
 
Lt Ferguson is an active member on the Burlington County Internal Affairs Association, where he serves as Vice President on the board.  He is also a member of the NJ Division of Highway Traffic Safety Organization.
